We are looking for an experienced telecom systems engineer to be part of a new team being developed to support a client who is one of america’s largest mobile network operators.
You will work within a cross-functional, agile, high-performing team supporting the development, verification, and deployment of network probes on the 4g ims core and vni networks.

Support cloud and physical infrastructure used for a network probing solution for ims core and vni lab environments
Analyze probe solution requirements and provide inputs to stakeholders on cloud and physical infrastructure needed Develop and support deployment of solutions on physical infrastructure, openstack vm and kubernetes containerized based solutions Create and maintain operational procedure documentation and lab ticketing, such as, lab engineering plans, heat templates, asdc models, preload and helm charts Develop and maintain operation health checks and distribute regular status reports Respond to support requests regarding cloud infrastructure including user admin, configuration changes, upgrades, new deployments etc. Track incoming requests and deliverables, and record actions taken and status
Remote work within the us mainland can be considered for well qualified candidates.
The majority of the team is based in redmond, wa and the position will need to support working hours in the pacific time zone.
All candidates will be expected to work remotely at times, so they will need to have a suitable working environment and internet connectivity.
Experience working with cots servers, network packet brokers, openstack and kubernetes Experience developing automation to enable ci/cd devops model Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills
Nokia cloudband experience desired Experience working in 3gpp based ims networks
