As a project manager with midwest bankcentre, you will be responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of strategic projects ensuring consistency with the midwest bankcentre’s strategy, commitments, and goalsThis is done through a variety of project management tasks such as identifying required resources, defining timelines, and providing communication of project status and deliverables to stakeholders and committeesThe project manager will apply best practices, share tools from experience, execute projects, and apply critical thinking skillsThis position interacts frequently with employees throughout the organization from individual contributor to ceo and reports into the project management officeProjects may utilize a hybrid waterfall/agile methodologyThe project manager will indirectly supervise staff from other departments assigned to projects.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously
Serve as an agile scrum master on a cross-functional team
Build processes and procedures while executing projects
Train and mentor the organization on agile processes
Facilitate testing and validation
Understand organization change management
Lead adoption of new technology within the organization
Develop business cases, including creating cost/benefit analyses
Track costs against the budget
Complete risk reviews
Complete vendor due diligence
Create project plans and track project tasks
Collaborate with project team
Review project costs vsBudget
Host retrospectives and communicate lessons learned
Demonstrate active listening and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to easily engage others in positive dialogue one-on-one or in a group setting, and at many different levels (customer, senior managers, peers, and employees)
Passionate about success and customer experience
Strong technical skills to perform required duties, practical in applying knowledge to assignments, and maintains expertise by keeping current with new developments and procedures, including but not limited to consumer protection laws and regulations
Demonstrate a high-level of emotional intelligence
Proven ability to think and act independently and the ability to work individually or as a member of a team
Skilled at prioritizing duties, working under time constraints, handling multiple tasks, and working independently while remaining flexible to changing priorities and assignments
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Experience with azure devops and salesforce preferred.
Ability to accurately enter data on a pc.
Visual acuity sufficient to accurately review and proofread informationAuditory ability to use a telephone.
Ability to read, write, and speak the english languageAble to operate general office equipment (fax, copier).
Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in business, information technology or a business related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing projects is required.
