PROCUREMENT EXECUTIVE - EKALA

For his / her purchasing portfolio , ensure the performance of the purchase of goods and services on his / her site , in accordance with the defined purchasing procedures and Michelin purchasing principles This job is functionally and hierarchically supervised by a Purchasing Senior manager It supports the Purchasing strategy , defined by the managers of the various Purchasing categories

Responsibilities :

LOCAL PURCHASING PERFORMANCE Collect and analyze plant / local needs of goods and services Deploy purchasing tactics defined by the buyer in charge of purchasing family Check that consistency of PR / PO flow between actors ( requestors , Business plant buyer , central buyer ..) Train users if needed Make local tenders and negotiate when needed , looking for value creation Make order with respect to value threshold he / she can validate Manage urgent purchasing Analyze and optimize procurement continuity of the plant on his / her purchasing families

RELATIONSHIP WITH INTERNAL REQUESTORS Share negotiations results with internal partners Share and validate performance metrics with internal partners Measure internal partners ` satisfaction Facilitate process application if needed Ensure the link between Business and plant : support to relationship ( level 2 ) between plant end user & Business Attend to monthly purchasing meetings with Business and countries Monitor KPI & SLA Business for the plant and animate the related progress part .

RELATIONSHIP WITH SUPPLIERS Identify gaps on delivery date , quality ..and their impacts on the business , for his / her portfolio Solve minor claims If recurrent or major claims , inform the Procurement manager Identify progress suppliers ` opportunities for the plant and inform the contract manager Make quality reviews with local suppliers and manage corrective action plans

QUALITY Apply Purchase to Pay process : catalogs , PR / PO creation , use of global contracts , approval rules , Respect Group rules : quality requirements , ethics and Michelin Purchasing Principles Ensure data quality on his / her scope

Requirements :

You have a Bachelor`s degree specialized in Supply chain / Logistics / Science / Finance or equivalent You have minimum of 02 years procurement experience in freight & logistics work environment Your experience in ERP ( SAP ) and knowledge on Contract management will be an added advantage You have an excellent knowledge in MS office applications You have excellent communication skills in both English and Sinhala You have good decision making skills and you are achievement oriented
