MEP ENGINEER ( MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL & PLUMBING ENGINEER ) - SEEDUWA The selected candidate will be responsible for successfully plan , manage , execute , complete and handover projects in related to MEP scope Give specialist , expertise knowledge and consultation to all projects related to Mechanical , Electrical & plumbing aspects .

Responsibilities :

Conducts feasibility studies , delivers an estimate , a schedule , a technical description , and a risk analysis Ensures the optimization of the specifications by challenging the needs Research and select a supplier for the studies and construction phases Delivers a Basic Design file ( detailed design ) :, Performs or verifies assumptions , sizing calculations and plans , Challenge the proposed solutions ( TCO ) , Ensures design during technical reviews Transmits a quotation , a consolidated schedule , an updated risk analysis - validation Delivers a building and its utilities in compliance with the commitments : costs , time , quality Archive all documents Carry out the incoming inspections ( Based on previous agreed brand names ) take relevant records / photos before unload / issuing to the site Further , quality of the incoming materials , defect of the incoming materials ( if available ) to be properly evaluated by the residence engineer with evidence documents related to electrical , steel & mechanical materials Evaluate that the received materials were stored in proper manner according to the given methods ( As per the recommendations given by the OEM supplier ) .

Electrical Works Check and validate the complete electrical installation based on the approved shop drawings and provided method statement Evaluate Electrical system commissioning based on the approved method statement Steel Building Observe the physical sizes ( against the drawing ) , welding quality , paint quality , galvanized quality Of the building steel structure Conduct random sampling and carry out the lab testing for material composition , paint thickness ( DFT ) , quality , galvanize coating specifications , Etc ..as per the direction of CLS technical team Check the received materials against the shipment documents , steel grade certificates , batch number certificates , and get the delivery notes after completely evaluation of the material quality such as paint damages , damages of sharp edge EtcObservation of space and firmed pathway for truck delivery , further evaluate crane and truck capacity based on operational conditions such as weight , angle , max span , Weather condition , Wind direction Etc ..Before unloading materials out of trucks or containers , it is required to take pictures of real material status delivered to job site Evaluation of installation manner based on the provided method statement for steel building with approved drawings ( Specially check tightness of all connection bolts , alignments , leveling details , allowed spans , Etc ..) Mechanical Works All Commissioning activities to be evaluated by the on - site engineer as per the method statement ( Considering OEM recommendations , QA / QC activities )

Requirements :

Degree or Advance Diploma specialized in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification Minimum of 9 Years ` relevant Experience in with a sound knowledge regarding similar kind of electrical installation Knowledge in MS Office package Specialized in Excel will be an added advantage Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala Both .
