The vice president of digital services is responsible for members cooperative credit union’s digital transformation strategyThis role is responsible for building and executing a digital roadmap that addresses member needs, enhances ux/ui, and connects our business partners.
This position works closely with executive leadership to understand organizational priorities and objectivesThis role is responsible for making our members lives better by leveraging the best digital services technologiesThis position is also responsible for the credit unions process excellence program.
Develops overall digital services strategy for the credit union through collaborating with executive team, focusing on delivering an exceptional member experience.
Prioritizes strategic initiatives to deliver a dynamic end-user experience that aligns with our mission and vision as a digital services leader in the financial industry
Continuously researches and recommends innovative products, solutions, and process improvements that will differentiate the credit union in the marketplace
Improves digital service performance as measured by member engagement, new online accounts, migration metrics, member satisfaction, usage, and penetration
Works across all departments to ensure integration of the organization’s strategic initiatives and analyzes results to optimize performance
Enhances our culture of inclusion by promoting high engagement for all employees
Ensures individual and team goals are well understood while creating a collaborative environment within the team
Develop, motivate, and retain a team of high performing, results-oriented and member-focused staff
Leads overall budget creation and use of reporting tools to support digital service goals and objectives
Provides leadership for the credit union process excellence program.
Makes our employees’ jobs better, easier, and more optimized throughout the credit union, leveraging technology and automation tools
Stays updated on emerging technologies, services, and operational trends
Ensures compliance and maximum efficiency in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures
Oversees the operational health of the platforms and components, keeping them current with regular testing and key performance measurements
Serves on various industry boards and/or committees, as appropriate, in the community and reports information to credit union teams
All other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in technology or business related field of study
5-10 years of financial institution management
5+ years of digital services management
Knowledge and understanding of current and emerging digital platforms, performance metrics, and listening tools
Ability to evaluate strategies and prioritize activities to deliver projects on time and within budget
Deep understanding of/and enthusiasm for web technologies, digital trends, and innovation
Familiarity with agile methodology for iterative development with the ability to test, learn, and execute
Knowledge of financial institution operations and experience with technical implementations
Requires a cross-functional understanding of the organization and all lines of business
Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
Highly curious, creative, and adaptable
Ability to listen effectively and present ideas clearly
A high degree of technical computing proficiency
