Duties of the position:
Create detail specifications for oracle pl/sql modules (packages, procedures, functions, triggers, etc.).
Create test plans and detailed system documentation.
Design, develop, and support pl/sql, etl processes for loading data from external as well as internal systems.
Work with junior level developers.
Manage detailed project tasks.
Help with gathering requirements.
Work experience required:
8+ years working with software development
5+ years writing detailed specifications
2+ years working with offshore developers,
5+ years developing oracle pl/sql environment
Extensive performance tuning experience of oracle applications
Strong understanding of the oracle architecture discipline, processes, concepts, and best practices
Has significant coding walk-thru experience
Has worked in an exadata environment.
Other qualifications required:
Can develop advanced pl/sql modules
Sql scripting for data validation, conversions, and manipulation.
Strong skills in the following:
Written and oral communication
Testing
Sql
