The senior software engineer - tech lead provides technical guidance, direction and mentoring to other development team members and plays a central role in ensuring the successful deployment of unique custom solutions of varying complexity for firm and client usersThis position works collaboratively with business analysts, ui/ux designers, product/project managers and business stakeholders to understand needs and to propose solutions based on the firms’ strategic development technologies and with an emphasis on ease-of-useThe senior software engineer - tech lead relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
As a technical lead, you will:
Create and implement complex software solutions, including design of solution architecture, formulate integration strategies, and implementation of resulting custom program
Formulate firm software design proposals and identify related system specifications and technical requirements
Contribute in daily stand-up meetings and support other aspects of the agile methodology
Perform unit tests in both pre-production environment(s) to ensure accurate and reliable operation of software and assist with system validation during production deployment
Participate in project management meetings to determine the project scope and timing and provide status updates
Provide ongoing system maintenance support to resolve system bugs and address general end-user requests
Create and update system documentation and process manuals
Work individually or with other developers in the build out, deployment and support of solutions
Serve as a liaison with other stakeholders to ensure the solution best meets the goals of our users
At least six (6) years of related work experience
Good working experience in azure technologies, specifically with aad enterprise apps, app registrations, app services (functionapps) and devops.
Advanced knowledge of sql, sql server, t-sql and database concepts
Advanced knowledge of multi-platform (mobile) solutions
Knowledge of microsoft office suite (excel, outlook, powerpoint, and word)
Knowledge of agile development environments
Strong organizational skills
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours
Ability to work independently and under own direction and initiative
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
