The medical equipment consultant is responsible for the management of the medical equipment planning functions during all phases of a hospital construction design projects including medical equipment planning, cost estimating, budget management, medical equipment procurement, and understanding clinical operations.
The medical equipment consultant is expected to lead the project, be accurate and timely in the preparation of detailed drawings, and effectively communicate with all stakeholdersHe/she shall demonstrate a passion for client satisfaction and comprehensive knowledge of healthcare technologyMedical equipment consultant is expected to have extensive communications with owners, architects, contractors, engineers, vendors, and clinicians.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience working with architects and owners
8+ years of clinical healthcare experience
8+ years of project management experience
Ability to travel domestically and internationally to meet project needs
Exceptional verbal and written communication and organizational skills
