We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated person to join our team as a business analysis associate in either our chicago, il; princeton, nj; or washington, d.cOffices (working remotely for the time-being)As a business analysis associate you will play a key role on project teams, comprised of technical and non-technical staff, to document business requirements, develop test plans and perform testing proceduresAs part of the systems and technology department, this position requires a high degree of technical aptitude related to systems and software development and a willingness to develop technical knowledge to meet project demands.

Serve as a liaison between project teams and technical staff.
Work with project teams to develop written business requirements from verbal conversations.
Manage and create tasks derived from business requirements.
Document business processes and identify opportunities to improve processes.
Assist with identification of technology solutions that may address business requirements.
Assist with development of processes and systems.
Assist with project management tasks (scheduling and coordination of activities).
Assist in creating test plans and coordinating testing activities.
Execute test plans and document all test results.
Strong educational background and a b.a./b.s degree required
Basic grasp of software and systems, data and databases, data analysis, survey development, or system design techniques.
1-3 years of experience gathering, managing, and documenting business requirements.
Ability to translate verbal communications to written requirements.
Ability to understand project plans and clearly articulate roles, project goals, and timelines.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to execution of tasks of varying complexity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to deal tactfully and diplomatically with others.
Flexibility to handle multiple priorities, sometimes simultaneously, under deadline pressure.
Desired but not required: web design, user experience (ux), sql, atlassian suite, visio.

This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $50,000 to $65,000This position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
