Regional sales manager

Work description:
Manage regional sales force
Develop sales force talent
Coach sales force towards best practices
Maintain relationship with key accounts
Guide salesman through sales programs and development of new markets
Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
Stay abreast of competitors offerings
Developing upstream/top of funnel management
Manage distributor relationships within region
Forecast expected monthly/yearly sales
Increase sales efficiency
Build a dynamic sales team while maintaining a good work/life balance
Minimum qualifications:
Sales management experience or relevant industry experience
Ability to coach others to reach their potential
Ability to interact with all levels of a customer’s organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong sense of teamwork and professionalism
Basic computer skills
Scorecard:
Maximize revenue for region
Ability to educate and train sales reps, lead schools, and trainings
Ability to motivate and coach sales reps to assist them in succeeding
