SENIOR GARMENT TECHNOLOGIST

We seek to attract result oriented professionals with proven technical skills, effective communication skills, analytical thinking and passion to striving for excellence and quality. The ideal candidate will be responsible to develop and Validate the garment construction up to bodyline capacity and capability by meeting the development calendar. Work with preproduction and production team to ensure smooth knowledge transferring to the production.

Key Responsibilities:

· Liaise with technical teams bringing construction solutions, validating the given construction by IE in the development stage by work with sample execution team, confirming that the garment is ready for durability conditions.

· Hold the responsibility of achieve the sample sewing plan execution, whilst liaising with the relevant development technical & merchandizing team.

· Work with pre production/ production teams to effectively transfer the product development knowledge into bulk production via accurate Ads and in relevant meetings & forums, which ensures the expected production performance

· Develop, guide and follow up with the team consisting of garment technologists & assistant, in order to obtain the maximum team performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

· A relevant degree or diploma from a recognized university.

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in the role of sewing technician or 7-8 years industry experience in similar working capacity.

· Knowledge of production methods such as stitching and pattern cutting.

· An understanding of manufacturing process and textile properties

· Basic knowledge of pattern making, Bonding and mounding technics are added advantage.
