General statement of duties: with a customer service orientation, answer phone calls and assists the caller by transferring to appropriate personnel, voice mail, or taking a message; schedules all office visit appointments, directs physicians’ offices and patients to the practice's website ensuring the effective management of all incoming calls from patients, primary care, urgent care, and specialist doctor’s offices; schedule appointments per scheduling protocol and perform daily appointment reminder and appointment confirmations calls.
Reporting relationship: supervisor and referrals manager
Supervisory relationship: none
Education: high school diploma/ged required.
Experience: minimum two years’ experience working in a physician practice scheduling appointments.
