Sales enablement specialist
The sales enablement specialist communicates and sells programs to the member‐owner, facilitates product ordering and forecasting, and manages execution of other sales activation activitiesThe purpose of the role is to free up capacity of other sales roles in the region so they can focus time in selling activities directly with owners, retail sellers and on the farmMost of this role will be conducted virtually.
Location: this position is remote (virtual) and can work anywhere in the united states except wyoming and alaska.
Sales enablement (50%)
Work with owner`s leadership to deliver technology to salesforce.
Help owner build their brand and market presence.
Understand cost of technologies and help owners assemble a suite of technology tools that deliver value.
Establish and build long term sales relationships with targeted accounts.
Work with sales partners drive sales (seed, cpp, stamps, cn) through use of decision ag tools and campaigns.
Educate retail leadership and sales team on leveraging agrimine data and tools to identify sales opportunitiesPartner with digital support specialist as required.
Present all winfield united programs to targeted customer lists.
Coordinates, funnels, prioritizes data from power bi to drive sales; builds lists or tools for the geography; serves as the super‐user.
Sales support (35%)
Understand owner processes and work with our team to fit the process or change the owner process to fit the tool.
Liaison between digital support team and owners to build and implement project plans of onboarding new ag tech tools.
Work with local field staff on marketing program participation, includes coordination of program enrollment and reconciliation of retailers (edge, catalyst, croplan).
Coordinates training and education to customers on systems, programs, processes (agrimine, edge, and catalyst).
Train retail sellers on edge web portal (program, access, progress, reward requests).
Expert on program resources to ownerAddress escalated issues surrounding grower seed reporting and compliance items.
Account strategy (15%)
Understand data needs and coordinate those needs at the local level.
Supporting or monitoring program performance ‐ acre sprints, campaigns, clinics; helps field sales get focused, manage acre sales calendar for those assigned accountsSupports and monitors map execution.
Required education and experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of industry or direct sales experience or 6+ years equivalent applicable work experience
Applicable agriculture industry experience
Proactive communicator with exceptional written, verbal, and formal presentation skills.
Trustworthy with a strong level of personal commitment.
Ability to make sound decisions and complete tasks in a fast‐paced work environment.
Ability to work independently and manage productivity.
Experience demonstrating agility and leading/adapting quickly to change.
Solid experience using microsoft products (outlook, word, excel, powerpoint); virtual collaboration
Tools (teams, zoom); and crm software (salesforce).
