Job description:
Research, identify and implement new qa process improvements in line with our scaled agile framework for enterprise (safe™) transformation
Lead iso certification efforts, including internal and external audits
Assist in the leadership of the teams and act as a perpetual change agent to that end.
Drive process definition, implementation, training, and improvement to ensure that software teams integrate quality into software development
Define suitable metrics and guidelines for teams to improve and demonstrate their adherence to quality processes
Instill process discipline and a culture of accountability, focused on customer satisfaction and supreme quality across all teams
Perform regular project reviews and internal audits to company/program requirements and industry standards
Work with minimal supervision, manage own time effectively, maintain control over all current projects/responsibilitiesFollows up on all relevant issues; pro-active.
Minimal travel within the us anticipated.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (bs or ba) or equivalent experience
10+ years’ experience as a technical project manager (hardware and/or software)
Preferred skills:
Experience developing processes for software lifecycle including change management, configuration management, and risk management
Able to work within a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team environment.
Demonstrated the capacity to effectively foster team building within and beyond his/her work group.
Well organized, ability to meet deadlines, self-starter and be able to multi-task between multiple consecutive critical tasks.
Cognizant of iso quality system procedures and documents.
Strong oral/written communication and interpersonal skills, including exceptional presentation and facilitation skills.
Experience with microsoft word, excel, powerpoint, and project.
Ability to use proper english spelling, grammar and legible office and business writing skills.
Should possess shared l3harris values of integrity, teamwork, excellence, and accountability.
Experience working in a scaled agile for enterprise (safe™) product development environment, certification desired.
Experience/knowledge of land mobile radio (lmr) systems a plus
Project management professional (pmp) certification through the project management institute (pmi)
