You’ll enable and empower the teams you work with to deliver value to our customers through excellent, high quality softwareYou’ll drive visibility into your product areas for the rest of product development and the company.
You’ll work with product to set the technical strategy for your product areaYou’ll connect this to kyruus’ business prioritiesYou’ll figure out risks, tradeoffs, and timelines.
You’ll know the customer commits, product roadmap, and slas for your area backwards and forwardsYou’ll track metrics, identify blockers to overall team effectiveness, and recommend process improvements.
Partner with product and foundation engineering teams on overall data architecture & strategy.
Overall data movement, storage, enrichment & orchestration.
Collaborating with infosec, ensure accurate security controls for all data.
You’ll provide architectural guidance, agile coaching, and technical best practices to the teamYou’ll ensure your engineers are keeping our product development principles front and center as we build amazing products.
You’ll recruit, hire, coach, and develop amazing software engineers.
Your typical day will include one-on-ones with direct reports, coaching agile teams through sprint cycle stages, recruiting activities, and communicating up, down, and across to your fellow kyruuvians.
You’ll report to the senior vice president, engineering.

You’ll use your 10 + years of consistent track record working in saas technology companies/organizations with growing levels of responsibility enabling digital and data transformations (required)
Responsible for the data platform vision, strategy, architecture, delivery and support in collaboration with product.
Technical depth and breadth in data services to guide the team in the areas of building and operating cloud services, database design, and data ingestion/etl, among others.
Help your team solve complex technical problems, and drive towards incremental value delivery.
Experience with cloud-first development and microservice architectures, building solutions to operate at scale.
Assure the work we do has the right use cases and coordinated roadmaps to build for scalability of systems, processes, and talent.
Strong entrepreneur background working with enterprise scale organizations, owning data technology platforms and product teamsThis will include owning delivery teams driving transformation of data architecture, data pipelines, data warehouse and related fields at scale.
Validated leadership building technical teams with proven success of data transformation.
Lead with emotional intelligence using the knowledge and experience of how data assets are prioritized, crafted, delivered, utilized, and matured.
Proven track record of coaching/mentoring individual contributors into more senior roles, as well as crafting a culture and team valuing diversity and inclusion.
Experience with gcp and aws ecosystems.
Sophisticated knowledge of data platforms and have led enterprise level data platform product teams at scale.
Experience in driving data governance maturity is a plus.
