Position objective
The it services consultant (itsc) – bcs role is a consultative business development positionAn itsc - bcs may cover multiple markets or sell to dealers & clients across all covered / kmbsThe all covered bcs team specializes in forza, an erp sysem built on sap business one and will work with internal teams to provide project implementation; managed hosted services; and recurring software maintenance contract services to clientsThe it services consultant should be able to have strategic conversations with prospects and current clients regarding complex it project implementations and software license procurement opportunitiesThe primary responsibilities of the role are to help grow all covered sales through collaboration with teams across business sectors, relationship building, presenting solutions and closing business.
The bcs team is a small niche group that provides subject matter expertise across all covered / konica minolta sales teams and customersThis is a great opportunity for technology sales professionals!
Essential job functions
Apply an in-depth understanding of all covered business consulting services, programs, and sales methodology to address complex and strategic project and procurement opportunities.
Work with solution architects, client account managers, engineering project resources, sales and management resources to achieve and exceed quota.
Work with konica minolta dealer sales teams, as assigned, to cross-sell it services to their client and prospect base.
Provide thorough and accurate insight into the financial results and forecast of sales of strategic and complex, project and procurement services.
With support from marketing & channel strategy resources, present special programs to prospects and ac bcs clients.
Develop a thorough understanding of how all covered services create value for customers.
Develop a thorough understanding of technology services and trends.
Drive ac business consulting services in assigned area of responsibility to grow market share with; licensing sales, recurring monthly services and project services.
Maintain consistent interaction & communication with team members and clients.
Work closely with managers, solutions architects, and client account managers to create and sell appropriate solutions to prospects

Experience, educational reqts and certifications
1-5 years of experience in the erp sales or managed it services industry.
4-year college degree or equivalent industry experience.
