We are looking for an individual with a winning mindset that can drive growth for the north america home professional business through exceptional account development and management, executing sales metrics & marketing plans in line with our business directives.
We currently have an opening for a srSales consultant supporting our north american kimberly-clark home professional sales teamThe srSales consultant is accountable for all aspects of building, selling, and executing multi-year joint business plans that deliver the objectives of the assigned customer accounts and kimberly-clark home professional businessThe srSales consultant will lead joint business planning, involving key internal stakeholders from sales, marketing, finance, etcAnd work alongside key customer contacts to gain alignment on goals and plans.
The successful candidate will be an excellent team player with a proven ability to collaborate within a matrix organization as well being able to take full personal accountability for delivering a high level of work and overachieving targetsThey need to be analytical, flexible and able to exceed targets within a fast-paced sales organization.
This is a virtual position reporting to the sales director, k-c home professionalFlexible work arrangements will be considered for this role, with a preference for candidates located on the east-coast or in the midwest (given the proximity to the retailers)Retailer accounts supported by this role will primarily be in the hardware / home improvement / paint and automotive distributor channels.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver profitable growth for kimberly-clark by building and executing multi-year joint business plans with assigned retail partners
Implement kimberly-clark brand strategies and tactics with the customer by reaching out to the key decision makers
Manage customer relationships, business planning, and trade management utilizing cross-functional resources and data sources
Develop and lead the creation of sales presentations / decks for joint business planning, category / line reviews, new distribution pitches, and promo planning
Lead event execution - includes forecasting, promotional planning, coordinating / attending trade shows, and tracking sales performance
Expand assortment - leveraging product innovation, identifying category needs / gaps, and providing kimberly-clark solutions to drive growth with retail partners
Track spending - includes sales agency commissions, advertising and promotional funds, and budget management
Work alongside marketing & sales operations to understand consumer and shopper behavior in assigned retailer accounts.
Recommend and implement process improvements, to increase efficiency within the teamAlso, enhance our customer relationships by supporting retailer led initiatives
Provide a commitment to quality performance through personal example by adopting a customer-based approach to business support
Demonstrate a source of business knowledge and problem-solving capabilities (leverage insights, identify risks / opportunities, and recommend action-based solutions) supported by analytics
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
1+ years of relevant work experience
A proven track record of high performance
Experience in the cpg industry (hardware / home improvement channels preferred)
Ability to develop joint business plans, manage trade / marketing budgets, and forecast
Solid knowledge of pc applications (windows, word, excel, powerpoint) is required.
Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization
Sound business judgment, problem-solving skills, and analytical expertise
Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
Working conditions:
This role may include travel up to 30% of the work time (and may include limited weekends for retailer specific trade shows)Travel may also include business travels via aircrafts and motor vehicles to various locationsWork may include prolong periods of sitting, typing, viewing computer/laptop screens, along with occasional bending, reaching, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, walking, climbing, twisting, stooping and standing.
