The national sales representative drives the success of kpi concepts, llc through strategic sales and marketing tacticsThis position leads overall metal fabrication sales objectives by developing and maintaining relationships, analyzing and identifying markets for expansion, and negotiating deals to meet customer needsThis position reports directly to the vp of sales.
Duties and responsibilities
Meet and exceed overall sales expectations by establishing relationships with new customers and maintaining relationships with existing customers.
Analyze and identify new business markets for expansion and growth.
Travel nationally to conduct in-person meetings with current and new clients.
Develop and implement effective sales strategy to drive sales and improve the marketability of manufactured products.
Strategically negotiate with potential and existing clients to close deals.
Assist finance in developing sales forecasts.
Works closely with the rest of the sales team, production, engineering, and purchasing to ensure production needs are being met.
Contribute to team effort by performing all other duties assigned to benefit the overall goals and success of the company.
Requirements and skills
Previous outside sales experience, specifically in metal fabrication or similar manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a dynamic, changing work environment.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
High degree of accountability and awareness.
Highly motivated, self-driven, and an assertive goal setter.
Energetic and positive attitude.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Experience in the store fixture industry or metal fabrication preferred.
This position will travel and work remotely most of the timeHowever, there will be occasions that require commuting to our home office located in west burlington, iowa.
