Duties/responsibilities:
Review outline and script with offline and online editors to discuss storyline, the “look” of the series/episode, sound design, and any potential issues that may affect the edit.
Manage field producers as needed.
Ensure field producer and director of photography are in contact.
Coordinate with production management on upcoming shoots.
Approve all archive / field related payments.
Creative supervision and management of post producers, associate producers, and production assistants.
Attend all pre-pro and recreation meetings.
Coordinate pickups with the network.
Manage graphic needs for each episode.
Approve casting for recreations.
Address network notes.
Lock episodes.
Oversee fact checking, legal, and deliverables for all episodes.
Direct vo sessions.
Monitor milestones and waterfall schedules.
Approve timecards.
Attend weekly meetings.
Qc each episode and check off notes.
Offer creative options to fit within budget.
Required skills/abilities:
Must have experience producing recreations
Excellent ability to multitask
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent ability to work under pressure and interact in a professional manner
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines
Software requirements:
Proficient with google drive, sheets, and docs
Proficient with microsoft office and teams
Proficient with box
