What you will do:
As the channel sales leader you will win, maintain, and expand relationships with assigned channel partners working with equipment sales channel managersYou will be responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives with channel partners based in the u.s.
How you will do it:
Responsible for the day-to-day relationship management of channel partners from a parts perspective and act as a liaison between jci ds parts business and assigned channel partners.
Build, maintain, and handle relationships with current and prospective channel partners and establish productive, professional relationships with key parts personnel in assigned partner accounts.
Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts.
Sell parts through partner organizations to end users in coordination with partner sales resources.
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates partner and end user needs on an ongoing basis.
Handles potential channel challenges with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communication internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
Leads solution development efforts that best address end user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all vital company and partner personnel.
Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners
Participate in a partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical achievements associated with a productive partner relationship and holds partners accountable.
Completes partner account plans that meet company standards.
Lead a team of three inside sales managers/channel specialists.
Required:
Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum five-ten years of channel sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment in hvac business.
Experience in leading teams.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Independent problem solver with an ambitious spirit and able to work with minimal direction .
Great teammate.
Growth mindset.
Experience with conducting voc and vob interviews and identifying unmet needs.
Able to work with equipment channel managers.
Experience with e-business.
Where legally permissible, if hired, candidate is required to be fully vaccinated against covid-19 no later than his/her start date, unless candidate has a valid medical condition or sincerely held religious belief precluding he/she from receiving the vaccine.
