Title: noise vibration harshness (nvh) engineer
Onsite/remote: partial remote position

As a noise vibration harshness (nvh) engineer for the product engineering center (pec) located in waterloo, ia, you will….
Work as part of a global, diverse team of engineers focused on the upfront development of off-highway machines
Use your nvh skills to ensure that products meet challenging noise and vibration requirements
Conduct upfront nvh upfront analysis of critical tractor systems such as structures, drivetrains, hydraulics, and electric drive systems
Develop and improve nvh analysis methodologies

What skills you need
3 years experience as an nvh engineer in automotive or off-highway vehicles
5 years experience as part of a global industrial engineering team
Demonstrated strength in autonomous learning and applying new, complex, technical skills
Strong interpersonal skills as part of a diverse, global team
Strong fluency in english
Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%, both domestic and international
What makes you stand out
Proficiency using hyperworks suite, beta ansa/meta, or similar tools
Proficiency using optistruct, nastran, or similar software for nvh analysis
Competency using siemens test.lab or head acoustics artemis suite for nvh testing
Experience with nvh analysis of electric drive systems for automotive or off-highway applications
Experience using simcenter 3d for acoustic simulation
Experience using romax gear analysis software for drivetrain nvh simulation
Experience with nvh analysis of drivetrain, powertrain, or hydraulics systems
3 years product development of off-highway equipment
Effective technical presentation skills to non-nvh engineers
Working knowledge of creo or similar cad tools
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Required: bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar engineering discipline
Desired: master’s degree in mechanical engineering with coursework or thesis in vibration and acoustics
