Needs to be a srPega developer who has focused on pega bpm developer (latest versions) and who has their pclsa certification (may consider someone who has their pcssa and has been a lead sys architect for a few years).
Position summary: we are looking for a highly skilled pega developer to design and develop enterprise-level pega applications for our companyIn this role, you will be responsible for the deployment of large-scale pega projectsThis may involve developing bpm applications, integrating web services, designing data models and frameworks, and collating business analysis requirementsTo ensure success as a senior pega developer, you should have advanced knowledge of pega class hierarchy and experience with java-based applicationsA top-level pega developer understands the needs of the company and designs scalable applications to improve process management.
Designs and develops pega bpm reusable, scalable components and applications as per the design standards. Defines and implements pega best practices, integrates with streaming and event driven architectures Performs solution architecture within the pega prpc environment. Designs class structures, application frameworks, test suite and data models. Coordinates with the scrum team, enterprise architects and the product owner to ensure the architecture matches the needs of the customer. Integrates business databases, legacy systems, and web services. Troubleshoots application issues, coding bugs, and bottlenecks. Conducts system performance tests. Maintains the security of all system applications. Works as a great team player with a can do attitude. Mentors, coaches team members and brings them up to speed with pega framework.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 6 years of experience in leading and supporting the development of highly transactional, mission critical applications in environments/architectures for multi-user systems. Minimum of 1 year working in an agile environment following scrum, kanban, or lean methodologies. Experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, functional and technical requirements, coding, debugging, testing, release and operational support. Deep understanding of object-oriented programming methodologies. Experience with software development best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations.
