Senior technical sales representative
Iondx™ has an opening for a field-based full-time technical sales representative who will lead the sales of our life science analytical instruments through direct customer engagementAre you ready to create new opportunities and help commercialize a brand new line of products? we need a self-driven, creative sales professional who will advance commercialization and market expansion for our product lineDo you want to work and grow a team supporting global biotech leaders and become a leader because you are driven by customer centricity ? together, we will cut years off the biotech drug development cycle and speed the production of biotherapeutics and vaccines.
Iondx is an early-stage company focused on commercializing our patented analytical instrumentsOur first product is imgenius™, a bench-top ion mobility spectrometer that is used to characterize biotherapeutics and gene therapy productsOur technology is revolutionary because it rapidly quantifies the conformation of large moleculesUsers of our instruments are spread across all phases of biotherapeutic drug development, manufacturing and product release.
Responsibilities:
· generate qualified sales pipeline for existing and new products through technical understanding of biopharma applications
· visit customer sites on a regular basis to give sales presentations and product demonstrations
· work closely with inside sales rep and commercialization manager to document, track, prioritize and report customer engagement through salesforce crm system
· leverage existing network within biotech industry to develop new business prospects
· communicate via in person customer meetings, email, social media, and phone with potential new customers
· provide field input on customer needs and market trends to the internal team
· maintain an up to date customer/contact database in salesforce
· represent iondx at industry conferences and other marketing activities
· submit accurate and timely monthly sales forecasts.
Qualifications:
· bs in chemistry or biochemistry or equivalent experience
· minimum 5+ years of analytical equipment sales experience
· adept in crm utilization, specifically salesforce
· passionate about providing exceptional customer support
· flexibility to take on multiple projects
· excellent verbal and written communication skills
· open to travel 40% of time
· willingness to work in a dynamic team-based environment
· san francisco bay area candidates preferred
