What does a great account manager do?
The role of the strategic account manager, is responsible for maintaining deep customer relationships to drive account revenue retention and growthBy collaborating with internal partners, the strategic account manager delivers exceptional service and a valuable solutionThe position will manage a defined book of business aligned by customer segment within a geography and will be accountable for the commercial close of all deals and retention of existing businessYou will also open up larger solution opportunities and introduce sales and customer success managersThis role will cover strategic accounts in the eastern region.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Demonstrate deep understanding of the customer decision makers’ strategies, priorities and needs.
Maintain solid understanding of investcloud propositions to initiate conversations and raise interest.
Build and embed a long term trusted advisor relationship within their accounts at c-suite and e-suite levels.
Drive growth by expanding investcloud footprint within their accounts.
Focus on maintaining overall customer engagement and expanding and retaining revenue.
Oversee all commercial activities within accounts, owning the end to end customer relationship.
Drive efficiency in account administration.
Manage internal and external stakeholders and maintain networks to negotiate and close deals.
Presentation and communication skills: ability to deliver presentations and communicate at all levels within an organization
Ability to collaborate with go-to-market team and other internal stakeholders
Qualifications for consideration:
5+ years of industry experience within the customer segments of wealth & asset management
Strong understanding of customers and their business model and workflows
Demonstrated selling skills (identity, develop and articulate a complex proposition/consultative selling)
Strong negotiation skills
Experience using analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting to gather data for the purpose of making business decisions
Proven account management experience in a customer facing environment required
