Full job description
Responsibilities:
1Drive new business in sectors, major in retail & consumer goods, health care, and e-commerce, formulate new business development plan based on target vertical segment or targeted customers.
2New business development with a focus on china-us export services including air and ocean and meet objectives and budget on new business gain.
3Well organize customer meetings and sales visits and able to provide & present tailored and innovative solutions to potential customers.
4Lead in engagements and strategic customer interfaces with key contacts to identify further business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
5Collaborate with the china bd team and handle sales lead properly.
6Work on customer rfq/rfp responses, manage the bid process and work closely with the china team
7Market, industries, and competitors` information collect and analyze.
Job requirements
Basic qualifications
15+ years in air/ocean forwarding business as a sales role, dedicated to american local customers.
2Solid business development experience in global forwarding/international trading territories.
3Proven success in business development, sales number, and customer pipeline
4Team player is a must, vision of the full business scope and network
Preferred qualifications
1Bachelor or above, major in trading/logistics/commerce is a plus.
2Solid understanding of logistics/forwarding/ supply chain management/e-commerce
3Ability to effectively handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
4Good communication and interpersonal as well as strong relationship-building skills
5Superior customer relationship management skills
6English written and verbal skills at a professional level
