Up and coming aerospace and defense company in san diego is seeking a part-time remote technical recruiter to join our human resources teamThe technical recruiter will support the human resources department with sourcing, screening, interviewing and submitting candidates to the hiring managers.
Job responsibilities are as follows:
Source candidates through job postings, resume pipelining, networking, cold calling and employee referrals. Pre-screening of candidates before marketing them to the ceo/president of the company - summarize relevant experience of hard and soft skills to help make hiring determination Source and retain passive candidates for various roles throughout the company Collaborate with ceo/president and other members of the team to ensure necessary recruiting needs are being met (positions filled, forecasting business needs, etc.) Create and implement an applicant tracking systems of potential candidates Screen candidates for skill set and compensation fit Work with human resources generalist to schedule interviews with necessary members of the team Other duties as assigned.
Experience with jazzhr recruiting platform or another ats preferred, but not needed 3+ years of recent experience sourcing/recruiting, preferably in the technical/engineering realm Ability to understand innoflight, incTechnologies and explain them to the candidate Outstanding verbal communication skills. Strong time management and organization skills
We are open to having this position as an individual consultant (1099) or w2 employeeThis is also a non-commissioned positionPosition is 100% remote with weekly check-ins and touch bases.
