Who we are looking for:
Infotech is seeking a full-time data science engineer to maintain our data operationsWith a strong desire to understand empirical facts, you also have a strong interest in data and a drive for innovationAs a member of the data & analytics team in our aashtoware products department, you will be instrumental in building out infotechs data analysis assets and continually improving and growing the repository over timeWhile this is initially a temporary position, there is potential to move into a permanent full-time position, dependent upon individual performance and business needs.

A bachelors degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
We`d like you to have experience with:
Dataops utilizing aws services
Applying mathematical and analytical methods to solve explanatory and predictive problems
Visualization tools
Extracting, cleaning, organizing, and manipulating data
Testing principles and practices
Applying machine learning
The technical skills needed for this role:
Aws services
Data modeling, storage, and retrieval technologies, including mysql, postgres, aws s3, logs
Python and jupyter notebooks
Data visualization tools

Hiring timeline and application instructions:
Multiple positions availableThis is a temporary, non-sponsorship-eligible position available immediately in a full-time capacityThe candidate will be hired for a 6-month to 1-year duration with the potential to move into a permanent full-time position, dependent upon individual performance and business needsThis position will remain posted until filledA resume and cover letter are required.
While infotech supports a remote workforce, there are currently no employees residing in californiaDue to tax implications, preference will be given to candidates residing outside of california.
