In the role of support engineer, you will support operations and incident managementYou will provide real-time and live production support by resolving issues relatively and proactively to ensure business continuity for the client using relevant technical experienceYou will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, support all types of testing and support activities related to implementationYou will be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institutionWill also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 2 years of experience in information technology in .net, vb, c#.
Work location will be sacramento, ca and willing to relocate to the work locationThis position may require relocation and / or travel to project locations

Experience of developing, enhancing and supporting application systems
Respond to incidents and resolve recurring issues/incidents as planned
Identify root cause and resolve highly complex issues
Work on “go-live” activities per the implementation plan and manage any issues related to functionalities/user interfaces etc.
Provide inputs on automating manual support activities and processes and work on such automated activities
Support creation of knowledge base on process, domain and technology in the project
Resolve escalated incidents and ensure they are resolved per sla
Responsible for basic design, development and testing activities per project needs
Experience in working with servicenow would be a plus
Excellent communication skills - good interpersonal and influencing skills.
Strong analytical skills
Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and applying them in the real-world
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of timeShould be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to faceTravel may be required as per the job requirements.
