Position description:
The sales training coordinator is responsible for coordinating sales training and development activitiesAdditionally, this role will support developing, updating, planning, and measuring the effectiveness of training & development programsIn coordination with leadership, this role will be responsible for training coordination associated with new hire training, new product launch coordination[tj1] , and ongoing educational opportunities, both in-person and virtualOther responsibilities will include collaboration with sales managers to assess employee development needs; identifying gap analysis, supporting the development planning process, creating sales tools; and regularly consulting with the sales team to identify continuous improvement opportunitiesOngoing responsibilities will include maintaining processes and procedures, conducting audits for adherence to policies, and training on any new processesThe sales training coordinator will work closely with the it team, sales operations, sales, and customer serviceIf you enjoy an entrepreneurial environment, this is the opportunity for you.
General duties and responsibilities:
Supports the design and development of curriculum and content for e-learning, virtual training, and in-person delivery.
Administers resource center and manages learning management system (lms)
Partners with sales leadership to assess training needs, develop an implementation plan, and create, lead, and facilitate learning/training initiatives.
Determine and direct the appropriate training and coaching content and adjusting training plans accordingly.
Maintains a global mindset to adapt training and deliverables based on geographically inspired learning differences.
Measures and tracks sales competencies, knowledge level, and role satisfaction.
Plans, coordinates, and facilitates train the trainer sessions as needed.
Create sales onboarding, refresher content, and additional lms tools for erp, crm, phone (8 x 8), and other sales systems.
Evaluates and analyzes the onboarding experience to ensure an efficient journey, helping new hires or new to role employees meet their performance objectives and quickly become fulfilled and productive members of the team and organization.
Prioritize and target specific training that will impact customer experienceIncludes training for all levels in sales.
Provide monthly training log with status by employees on sales, process, and third-party training.
Coordinate third-party training, training proposals, and training content based on sales group needs.
Determine accurate training for the needs of sales and service, identify contractors and negotiate price and terms.
Audit sales and customer service for adherence to policies and consistency throughout the business.
Interface with sales and customer service, via video, phone, email, and live webchat[tj2] .
Evaluate individual and team performance kpi’s and report on areas and/or individuals needing focus and improvement.
Leverage performance kpi’s to drive needed training and coaching in all sales teams.
Exercise excellent business judgment to determine additional support as needed or escalation as required.
Ability to work from home (wfh), potential hybrid office environment, and travel as needed.
Other duties as assigned to support overall sales objectives but may not be limited to the above list.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and business acumen with a customer-centric focus.
Professional communication skills, written and spoken english, including correct usage of grammar and sentence structure and appropriate professional messaging and tone.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
General computer skills, including solid working knowledge of excel, word, outlook, ms teams, powerpoint
Experience with crm and erp systems preferred.
Individual may be required to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-40 pounds.
Reports to: senior sales operation manager
Travel: as needed (15%)
Education and experience:
College degree or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of training experience on sales processes, crm, erp, or phone system.
Personal traits and characteristics:
Reliable, dependable, and diligent.
Highly organized with good time management skills.
Excellent work attendance record.
Task-oriented, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Able to work under pressure and deadlines.

Work environment:
The work environment is typically considered in an office environment located on-site, within an infinite location during regular or extended business hoursWork environment may also include employee’s residence (work from home) or a hybrid combination of home and on-site facility.
