Inclusa`s it department is seeking a software developer ii
As a software developer ii, you will architect, implement, and maintain complex software solutions related to our enterprise system.
What are some of the things you`ll do?
You will be responsible for the development related to bug fixes and minor improvements within the development maintenance cycle and feature level projects related to inclusa`s internally developed solutions.
You will architect, develop, test, and implement feature level software solutions.
You will develop and test code changes relating to backlog items assigned.
You will coordinate with dev team to ensure code commits are merged into the proper release branches.
You will document work details and status in azure devops.
You will perform code reviews of peer code commits and provide feedback.
You will work with project management/business analyst (pm/ba) team to finalize requirements and facilitate testing.
You will work with pm/ba team to finalize requirements based on the tech available and existing system standards.
You will propose technical option/solutions to align with user stories presented in project requirements.
You will develop proof of concept solutions to facilitate innovation and help finalize requirements.
You will work with pm/ba team to develop test plans for user testing labs.
You will vet test feedback and identify bugs relating to code changes.
You will vet suggestions from pm/ba team for system improvements to be added to the maintenance cycle.
You will provide level 3 system support to inclusa`s production applications.
You will provide backup and overflow support for escalated service desk tickets as well as issues and questions escalated by the pm/ba team.
What are the requirements of this role?
You should hold an associate degree or higher in computer science or relate field.
Or you may have relevant work experience in developing and/or implementing information system technology in lieu of education.
You should come to use with 5-7 years of experience in developing and/or implementing information system technology.
You should have working knowledge and experience with source control and gitflow methodologies.
You should have working knowledge of visual studio as well as azure cloud services.
You should be able to pair with other developers to build secondary components of a larger solution and coordinate delivery of components to align with the implementation of the solution as a whole.
