IXL Learning, a leading edtech company with products used by 14 million students worldwide is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive - DACH to join our growing team to support our Rosetta Stone product line. Rosetta Stone is the global leader of online language learning solutions. Rosetta Stone Enterprise provides companies and organizations with a world-class platform to address language learning gaps through tracking and optimization of language training.
The Account Executive (m/w/d) for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH) will create detailed business plans to reach predetermined goals and quotas, manage the entire sales cycle from finding a potential client to securing a deal, and unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turning them into long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented and tenacious with a natural sales instinct. You will have experience working with technology and assisting customers. We are looking for a self-starter that will support our rapidly growing customer base.
This is a full time position in either our Cologne, Germany office or remote within Germany.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING- Sell primarily to new customers and help expand business with existing customers
- Effectively communicate key product features and benefits to prospective customers virtually
- Develop a keen understanding of customer needs and values in order to provide personalized assistance throughout the sales process
- Meet sales goals on a consistent basis
- Help to design and implement new and creative sales strategies
- Understand and keep up-to-date with ever-changing market trends
- Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective customers
- Gather customer feedback to help improve and enhance product offerings
- Promote Rosetta Stone at educational technology conferences and other events in Europe
- Travel in territory to customer sites
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of field sales, preferably within the edtech or software industry
- A high level of self-motivation, energy and drive to succeed
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence, credibly and effectively
- Aptitude for working under pressure and meeting deadlines
- Ability to apply energy and creativity to meeting sales goals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Understanding of web and mobile applications
- Salesforce.com experience is a plus
