Position overview the regional manager works closely with the territory managers to increase market share in the regionThe regional manager also helps develop the territory managers overall skill set including, time management, presentation skills, industry knowledge and technical skillsDuties and responsibilities
Develop sales plans and programs to grow both topline sales and margin in territory
Ensure team and individual accountability within the region
Assists in project pricing strategies to ensure hpw end to end solution sales
Implement sales management tools that will assure maximum efficiency of the sales organization.
Maintain executive level relations with the key customers within the region.
In conjunction with marketing, inside sales and engineering, develop and communicate programs to ensure that all new products, programs, and other pertinent information is disseminated to appropriate parties.
Assist in new product development and inform engineering and manufacturing of end user requirements.
Lead by example with accountability, organizational skills.
Skills and experience
Four year college degree, preferably in business administration or marketing
Possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
5 years of industry experience preferred in the data communications industry.
Ability to travel 50%.
Must reside within the region.
Proficient with ms office applications.
