Business development/sales professional – fully remote
The director, business development is a collaborative, influential, and experienced business development professional responsible for core business development/sales activities that contribute to corevitas’ patient experience unit (healthivibe’s) overall growthThis is a key role responsible for identifying, assessing, negotiating, and finalizing new business opportunities that are in line with the overall business and strategic growth objectives for the company.
The position is multi-faceted and requires a combination of pharmaceutical/patient experience/healthcare data knowledge; strong consultative sales, lead prospecting, and business development experience with an emphasis on securing new work and on creating long-term, lasting business relationships; a highly motivated and “self-starter” personality; the ability to potentially manage sales and business development staff; and most importantly an entrepreneurial approach to helping grow an already successful and established business.
Your key strengths include:
Develop and measure actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term goals and objectives and overall profit and growth targets.
Nurture and develop sales leads within new and existing accounts to identify and qualify revenue-generating opportunities for the company
Arrange business meetings and presentations with prospective clientsIdentify key internal staff/smes to support strong, long-term client relationships.
Oversee and participate in sales and new business opportunities with hands-on engagement throughout all business development life cycle milestones
Establish and achieve sales goals, metrics, and milestonesTrack and report on progress and success.
Capture prospect and market needs and trends and consult with executive leadership and internal teams for solution development.
Manage the development and coordination of strategic account plans to increase existing business and capture new opportunities.
Maintain up-to-date opportunities within salesforce.com
Possible role: manage, direct, and advise a business development team, including business development, proposals, sales, and strategic account managers, while continuing to meet individual sales targets

Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum 15 years’ experience working in life sciences/pharmaceutical industry
Master’s degree (ms, mph, or mba) preferred
Minimum of 10 years of sales, business, and management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience that gives the individual the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the job
