Overview: how you can make a difference sales support team members are responsible for supporting the end to end sales processPerform sales demos, present sales presentations, and provide open enrollment supportProvide continued support and service for existing brokers.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a strong ability to appropriately network with little directionA strong preference will be given to those with specific health insurance or broker industry experience.this position also works collaboratively with all members of the sales team, rfp team, marketing team, and compliance team.
What you’ll be doing
Organizes, prepares, assists, and may conduct on-site sales, enrollment, benefits fairs, and client/partner meetings.
Assist and supports assigned team in preparing proposals for current and prospective client’s needsPrepares forms and agreements to complete sales.
Creates and assists with business presentations for prospective and existing partnerships and clients.
Travels to client and employer locations to conduct on site meetings such as; enrollment and renewal meetings, educating participants products and services.
Assist with requests for proposals
Enters and maintains as requested, accounts, in salesforce.
“cold calling” non-registered brokers from leads and provide through existing carrier relationships, agent list, ce rosters, call campaigns and e-mail campaigns.
Handle in-bound calls from potential clients inquiring about healthequity,inc.
Support and service existing brokers
Perform sales demos and sales presentations
Participate in special projects as needed.
What you will need to be successful
Knowledge of general sales and marketing concepts or a closely related field as normally obtained through the completion of a bachelor’s degree in.
2-3 years if related work experience preferably with a background in telephone sales and / or insurance sales.
Familiarity with principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services, including educating others regarding products and services.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including business presentation skills and ability to create effective visual aids.
Strong active listening skills, giving full attention to others, asking appropriate questions.
Ability to persuade others to change their minds and bring others together to reconcile differences.
Deductive and inductive reasoning abilities, being able to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense and to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions
A strong customer service orientation is essential
Demonstrated ability to adapt to the changing demands of business is a must
Moderate travel is required (20%-30%) overnight travel and travel spanning 2 to 3 days to customer, client and company facilities.
