Summary: The health catalyst measures team helps to develop, support and maintain curated, scalable quality measure logic across our clientsThe product leverages industry standards, regulatory standards and client defined measures such as ecqm, ahrq, and payor measuresThe product is foundational in our larger strategy to produce world-class content that can help customer organizations achieve improved quality improvement outcomes, drive greater analytic efficiency, and produce reusable/sustainable content informed by national and customer-focused experts. The implementation services director will oversee and lead a team responsible for all implementations of health catalyst’s measures at large health systems and provider organizationsThis position requires close collaboration with the customer success lead who is responsible for the overall client engagement and all health catalyst products being deployed at the clientIn order to support our clients, the director will lead a team of data architects to deploy and maintain an accurate, performant, and process improvement-driven measuresIn addition, the director will be responsible for our entire implementation/deployment process and continuing to work in coordination with product development leads to streamline our processes and constantly look for ways to improve and speed up the deployment process for our clients. We are looking for highly motivated individuals that would be excited at the prospect of doing whatever it takes to delight our clients and lead a team that is dedicated to ensuring the implementations of the measures go as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Duties & responsibilities
Spend a significant amount of time developing a formal implementation process and documentation that will help assess the client’s current resources to develop and maintain measures, identify and track key steps, and track and follow each client’s progress through these activities. Train and oversee the implementation team’s execution of the new processes. Responsible for the overall success of deployments for the measures team. Work with product leads to prioritize functionality and bug fixes to ensure additional functionality will support client needs. Interact with the client’s teams on a regular basis throughout the engagement. Responsible for the measures team product deployment, client relationship, and client satisfaction during the measures deployment. Interacts with client’s professional services on a regular basis as necessary throughout the entire engagement. Responsible for identifying and actively pursuing opportunities to educate and share the health catalyst vision for the measures product both internally across health catalyst teams as well as customers.
Regulatory and/or payor experience, specifically around quality measures and the knowledge about the intricacies of the measure programs to articulate the differences with our clients. Ability to help prioritize quality measures, understand the specifications to work through data assessments and data quality at the request of the client. Sql proficiency to function as a business analyst in interpreting between non-technical customer audiences as well as it teams both at the customer and within health catalyst. Exceptional executive interpersonal, communication, relationship building, organization, and time-management skills. Proven experience in health care operations. Ability to build, bridge communication and work in a cross functional team of technology, clinical, and administrative resources. Proven ability to adjust quickly in a dynamic environment, applying best practices in clinical and agile technology program management. Detail-oriented, efficient, organized, resourceful, and highly productive. Proven ability to facilitate executive discussion and resolve conflict. Possess analytical problem-solving skills. Adapts quickly and flexibly in a dynamic environment. Establishes credibility and rapport with technical and clinical team members. Anticipates and manages conflict resolution Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills Self-motivated; comfortable working independently under general direction 3+ year project management experience. 3+ years of technical leadership/management experience
Healthcare domain knowledge Experience with project management tools and processes Strong experience with development methodologies including agile development 1+ year experience effectively communicating to executive level highly preferred. Strong sql skills
Education & relevant experience
Bs/ba in technology, business, or healthcare related degree Five+ years’ experience in healthcare/technology related field Training in the toyota production system, lean, six sigma, project management or other process improvement skills is desirable.
