Software sales representatives play a vital role in the overall success of the sales and marketing organization, working alongside and in support of several strategic teamsExtensive training and professional development are provided to help employees thrive in this positionOpportunity for promotion from this role to outside sales territory manager is expected in less than a year, where you receive a guaranteed commission in the first year in addition to a competitive base salary, with an uncapped commission structure based on revenue generation in subsequent years.

Partner with the marketing team to execute follow up strategies for designed campaigns and lead-generating initiatives
Assist with hosting virtual conferences, webinars, and company events
Conduct both online and onsite product demonstrations
Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, and screen potential sales opportunities
Develop relationships with faculty members via the phone to identify custom solutions with our educational materials
Travel with the sales team to train and assist in sales presentations at trade shows and college campuses
Perform targeted market research and maintain contact database
Collaborate with colleagues in the customer service department to assist with expansion efforts and onboarding of new accounts

Bachelors degree with minimum 3.0 gpa
Ability and willingness to travel
Ability to work independently
Public speaking experience
Excellent organizational and time management skills
1-5 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing position preferred
