Ready for a new challenge? the focus of this role is to generate new business, lead nurturing and pre-sales activitiesThere will also be responsibility to the overall sales department goals and objectives including but not limited to driving revenue, customer service, rfp’s, pipeline generation, meetings and conference attendanceGenerating new business will be driven by outbound calling, email and event campaignsThe business development / inside sales representatives are encouraged to consistently deliver more – more qualified opportunities, higher conversions and more innovative approachesMoreover, the skills, contacts and track record that are developed in this role will play a meaningful role in improving one’s career potential within guidewire as this position has advancement potential within the sales organizationUltimately, the successful candidate will be a strongly self-motivated and a driven individual who is goal-oriented, methodical, tenacious, and can optimally get along with a team over the phone and in personOur sales and marketing teams are key to guidewire`s successOur industry is undergoing a technology-led transformation, and our teams are vital partners to insurers in helping them plan for successAnd, new sales revenue ensures we can continuously invest in our products and in scaling our growing companySo we see our sales and marketing teams as ambassadors in the marketplace helping to influence how guidewire`s brand is perceived!
Qualifications / responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years minimum of business development or sales experience achievement
Strong interpersonal/communication skills – speaking to c level executives.
Ambitious spirit with a bold hunter mentality
Strong interpersonal skills and a self-starter
Proven eye for business demonstrated in a b2b environment.
Ability to multitask and maintain relationships internally, with customers, partners and outside consultants.
Knowledge of it or insurance is a plus.
