Great plains communications is growing! we are looking for a positive, organized, high-energy leader to fill the position of director of residential sales.
As the leader of our residential sales team, you will support the mission statement of gpc by working within gpc’s strategic and policy framework to start up, develop, and implement gpc’s ftth expansion initiative that will offer residential customers services such as broadband internet and iptv in new marketsGrows the business from inception up to management of new revenue streamsValidates and adjusts strategic plan assumptions and coordinates with the cro on the “go-to-market” strategyIn conjunction with product development, creates a compelling product suite, value proposition, and “go-to-market” offerings that incentivizes customers to switch to gpcCoordinates with cro on marketing and sales plansBuilds a team with core competencies in the ftth market segment and designs and manages an aggressive sales strategy to meet revenue goals.
Other duties include:
Leads the start-up, development, and implementation of the ftth strategic plan for the ftth strategic plan for the purpose of achieving owner’s goals, meeting organization objectives, and growing the company.
Ensures attainment of sales, strategic and financial goals of gpc.
Performs personnel activities such as hiring, termination, promotion, training, evaluating, etc.
Works with product development, cro, and cto to develop products and services appropriate for the customer.
Mentor the ftth team as appropriate, for the purpose of developing the leadership abilities and accountability of managers and supporting their performance and teamwork.
Strategic planning: envisions gpc’s future and helps shape its course.
Successful candidate will have 5-10 years of experience as a ftth sales leader with a recent track record of performance and 10 years of relevant leadership experience in residential cable and/or telecom.
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
