Full job description
Responsible for managing and directing the sales of equipment within the assigned territory for customer accountsResponsible for budget projections and meeting sales goals & targets for the business.
Specific responsibilities
Promotion & sales of equipment & upgrades to meet budget expectations
Develop and maintain customer relationships
Manage all sales leads and progress and routinely track through sales force crm
Attend trade shows, sales meeting’s and prepare information and data as required -namely, glassbuild america (annual), glasstec germany (bi-annual), sales kickoff meeting (annual), regional shows/expos within territory as required
Responsible for logistics and customer communications and database in crm
Frequent travel to customers and within the territory is expected and necessary on a routine basis
Review & report sales to regional management and business areas
Collect competitor information for both pricing and technical dataImplement into sales strategies.
Support project management and administration for installations and acceptance of equipment
Support administration for payments collections as necessary
Travel periodically to factories in europe for trainings or customer meetings
Qualifications & experience
Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Extensive knowledge of equipment and business areas
Technical degree in engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent industry experience for 5+ years
Coordinating and managing customer relationships
Independent thinking & the ability to organize & maintain a large geographic sales territory and the ability to plan in advance and travel as needed
Good verbal and written communication skills including use of emails, conference calling, presentation skills, and phone calls or texting customers as necessary and appropriate
Computer literacy including microsoft software, presentations, and sales force
The ability to work without supervision
Industrial business professional personal presentation.
