With the account executive role, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of marketing and promotional programs for national spirits brands and their partner activationsThe position will allow you to build and maintain client relationships, while taking the lead on account activities to ensure quality work is provided.
What you’ll do //
Execution and daily management of programs and deadlines
Maintain communication with clients, vendors and members of cross-functional teams
Monitor program progress and recommend adjustments as necessary
Prepare, participate, and lead weekly conference calls with client
Evaluate program results against program objectives
Create and maintain administrative documents for client reports and presentations including meeting recaps, reporting, agendas and timelines
Ability to service multiple client contacts and various assignments simultaneously
Time-management, organizational and supervisory skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to meet and deal effectively with clients
Leadership skills with high initiative and work ethic
Excellent composition skills; oral and written
Ability to hire, train and manage in-market field staff
Able to travel for the purpose of planning and implementation of the program
What we’re looking for //
Demonstrated experience leading event-based programs for national brands
Well-developed project management skills across various disciplines including creative, ideation, measurement and research
Creative thinker with experience bringing proactive solutions and new ideas to the client that align with overall program objectives
Comfortable providing thought leadership in consulting situations
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
Passion to work on a team of highly motivated individuals and in an environment where you can be proactive
Experience managing teams which can include field staff, field managers, vendors, agency peers, internal teams and/or clients
Excellent time-management, organizational, and management skills that allow for high-level productivity in any working environment (remote, in-office, at events)
3-5 years of relatable experience required
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or related field required;
Ability to travel for business and/or work during evenings and weekends as programs require
