We have an exciting opportunity to join the rad team as a principal machine learning scientist! as a principal machine learning scientist, you will apply broad expertise and knowledge in highly specialized machine you will also resolve and assesses a wide range of issues in creative ways and suggest variations in approach for designing, prototyping, building, and enhancing our machine learning platform.

Required job skills:
Experience working with data scientists and/or analytics team in designing and building analytics products
Experience building configurable ml pipelines (from data extraction to validation) in mlflow, metaflow or a similar technology
Experience with evolutionary algorithms, application of unsupervised learning models in construction of predictors, natural language processing algorithms, manifold learning, autoencoders and other dimensionality reduction algorithms
Working knowledge of design of experiment and tracking of machine learning experiments
Ability to engage data scientists and analyst in iterative design and validation process
Ability to coach and guide other ml scientist in shaping ill-defined data needs into concrete project deliverables
Ability to develop collaborative relationships with multi-functional teams
Strong programming experience in sql and python
Working knowledge of big data technologies such as spark, hadoop, hbase, scala/pyspark
Experience in azure ecosystem (azure data lake, azure data factory, azure data bricks, azure storage, cosmosdb), ado is a plus
Knowledge of operationalizing experimental queries with dbt
Experience with network-based featurization preferred
Experience applying machine learning in information retrieval domain such as search engines, natural language processing preferred
Qualifications:
7+ years of data analytics experience
3 years of experience building reusable, configurable ml assets
1+ year experience building end-to-end ml pipelines
Experience applying machine learning algorithms in feature construction and embedding
Experience in featurization of unstructured data
5+ years of experience in designing data collection and feature construction effort from start to finish
5+ years of experience working with analytics or data science teams in developing analytics products
5+ years of experience with sql, python/pyspark
3+ years of experience working with hadoop, sql, no-sql platforms
3+ years of experience with various data types (avro, json, parquet preferred)
3+ years of experience with azure ecosystem
2+ years of experience with cloud-native data warehouses like snowflake
1+ year experience building graph queries for graph databases
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or a related & relevant master’s degree with 5-7 years of related experience; or equivalent work experience.
