The web design specialist is responsible for the design, creation and maintenance of visually appealing and functional landing pages that convert usersThis role currently reports to our web optimization managerYour tasks will include designing, building and maintaining landing pages, optimizing landing pages, performing experiments, assisting with reports, creating a better customer experience among other things.
You may on occasion interact with clients and vendors through email, phone calls, or in-person meetings so your excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills will come in handy.

Design and maintain clients` paid lead generation landing pages
Design reusable and flexible page elements and templates
Perform maintenance updates on landing pages such as updates to disclaimers, discount information, etc.
Continuously optimize and test clients` paid landing pages to improve conversion rates
Qa & troubleshoot landing pages across clients
Maintain knowledge of best practices within cro, ux, and digital marketing
Identify cross client trends, wins, and losses and communicate to the internal team
Improve and maintain internal and external documentation
Perform landing page audits to determine potential improvements or issues
Coordinate with the paid media team on specific needs for campaigns
Maintain high level of client knowledge for designated landing page clients
Act as a client lead for the web optimization team on assigned clients
// required skills & experience
1-2 years of experience building and designing websites/web pages
Strong working portfolio of previous, self-built web designs
Ba/bs in computer graphics technology (cgt), web design, web development, informatics, or other related fields
Highly proficient using html and css
Passionate about design and ux and familiar with best practices
Experienced with adobe photoshop and illustrator
Experience with wireframing/prototyping
Programs such as figma, sketch, balsamiq, etc.
Basic proficiency in google workspace (sheets, docs, slides etc.) as well as microsoft office
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Strong problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time-management and organizational skills
Inquisitive nature and desire to always find ways to improve
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to handle difficult situations in a positive and professional manner

Experience with unbounce or another landing page platform
Experience with a/b testing
Experience with lead generation focused landing pages
Experience in copy-writing/copy-editing
Experience in demand generation and/or marketing analytics
Experience with hotjar or related user experience tools
Experience with user interviews, user testing, and persona development
Knowledge of google analytics
Understands how to properly analyze qualitative and quantitative data
