Foth production solutions, llc is seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented project manager interested in new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and a desire to contribute to our clients’ successesThis position will work out of our green bay, wi (preferred); madison, wi; milwaukee, wi; or minneapolis, mn; or remote office location (if willing to relocate).
Primary responsibilities:
Build the foth-client relationship through project execution excellence to facilitate new business opportunities
Project point contact between client and foth to professionally represent all activities among technical, operational, financial, and executive teams
Collaborate with clients to develop high value project proposals and project plans
Execute project plans to contractual requirements of scope, schedule, budget, and quality
Proactively monitor project kpi’s and develop effective mitigation plans and actions to maximize project profitability
Develop required project staffing plans and collaborate in selecting appropriate project team members
Establish project objectives and provide direct performance feedback to team and individuals
Direct and coordinate activities for the project’s design team, subcontractors, and partners
Collaborate with procurement to qualify, solicit bids, analyze value, and award project support services/contracts; and resolve delivery problems
Identify and manage risks, actions items, and problems across all project phases, disciplines, resources, and client expectations
Champion safety and promote, support, and monitor all safety policies of foth and clients
Travel as needed (20% annually if local to green bay) for data gathering, design reviews, installs, start-ups, and problem-solving activities
Required qualifications:
Bachelor`s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or equivalent technical experience
10+ years of recent direct project management experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
Required previous experience:
5+ years recent experience in the role of a lead technical engineer
Financial acumen and experience in managing $5mm+ projects
Ability to effectively use msproject
Proposal generation and contact negotiation experience
Facilitate communications at all organizational levels
Custom machine design and/or manufacturing knowledge
Preferred previous experience:
Electrical and controls background
Production line troubleshooting
Project financial tracking up to $30mm
Managing multiple concurrent inter-related projects and contracts
Working in a consultant environment
Project management professional certification or ability to obtain within 24-months of hire date
Professional engineer license or ability to obtain within 24-months of hire date
