Passionate about selling and considered to be a top performer? we are seeking a motivated outside sales engineer to grow the pruftechnik line of premium industrial technology equipment (hardware/software/services)In this role you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your passion for sales, your deep technical expertise, and your relationship development skills to support key sales efforts at flukeYou will develop large-scale opportunities and work them through the sales funnel in this direct selling roleApply your expertise in laser alignment, vibration analysis, and remote condition monitoring to deliver an outstanding customer experience that drives profitable growth for fluke.
Responsibilities
Promotes and sells pruftechnik hardware and software solutions in the assigned territory (tx, ok, nm)Achieves sales quota by working with customers, adding funnel in crm, and moving opportunities through the funnel to close.
Work directly with customers on application engineering, specification review, and budget/timeline expectationsConnect with customers to explain technology and products to both business and technical users.
Travel extensively to drive key sales activities in the field which support growth (customer visits, demos, sales presentations, training, industry events, etc.)
Partner with inside sales and other team members (marketing, engineering, management) to respond to quickly to customers, improve customer engagement, and increase share of wallet spent on fluke products
Use crm and funnel management diligence to develop monthly sales bookings and larger order forecasts
Assists sales leadership in business development and key strategic account management
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of technical sales experience in a dynamic organizationProven history of consistently driving sales and revenue growth as well as customer and market share expansion.
Alignment and/or condition monitoring technical experience preferred (vibration analyst cat i or higher would be advantageous)
Bachelor’s degree (engineering) or equivalent related industry experience
Experience selling in key accounts sales and complex selling environments; track record of developing deep relationships with key decision-makers that has resulted in sustained success with accounts
Strong sales background in funnel management, driving specific key performance indicators, and using crm (salesforce.com)
Demonstrated leadership and sales competence along with a hands-on, ‘get it done’ mentality that is a hallmark of other successful leaders at fluke/fortive
