We are looking for a talented uiux designer to join our digital marketing teamAs a leader on our team, this person will be responsible for designing best-in-class digital experiences to support our portfolio of industry leading brands.
Please note:
This is not an entry level position.
This is not a graphic design position, you must have exp with uxui
This is not a fully remote position but we are open to candidates in the los angles and orange county area willing to come into the office for collaborative * meetings as neededIdeally we would like someone in the san diego area in office 3 days p/week.*

What you will contribute*
We are seeking an innovative, energetic and collaborative srUx/ui designer to enhance the overall functionality of our websites and web tools to ensure a best-in-class digital user experience for consumers and pool professionals.
Lead the design of rich, modern web experiences across our portfolio of brands
Use business requirements, user stories, and data to produce user flows, site maps, wireframes, prototypes and/or high-fidelity mockups
Plan and conduct user research, a/b testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility best practices
Present design work to the marketing team, product team, and executives for review and feedback
Create reusable and scalable design systems that can be leveraged across multiple brands
Work with ui designers and developers to document components and style/coding guides for websites
Participate in agile team meetings – metrics, sprint planning, sprint retro, sprint review, standups
Stay up to date with latest design and technology trends

What we seek*
*
A minimum of 5 * years working professionally in ux and/or digital design requiredInternship does not apply*
Experience using ux/ui design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills to articulate the rationale behind design choices
Strong attention to detail; ability to perform duties with minimal supervision and with high level of accuracy
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Expertise in standard ux and design software such as sketch, invision, and adobe creative suite is a must.
Experience with bootstrap or another, similar framework
Basic html5, css3, and javascript knowledge is a plus
