The vp, internal business development manager will play a key role in educating fidelity’s internal business partners on stock plan services capabilities for equity compensation solutions for both private and public corporations! with the goal of growing sales, retention, win/loss and bid activityThe ideal candidate will have relationships with a diverse set of fidelity business units and a consistent track record of building new relationships quickly.
Passionate about driving growth across all sps markets, our sales team plays an integral role in the sps businessWe also partner closely with other businesses across the fidelity enterprise to illustrate fidelity’s value proposition.
The expertise we’re looking for
5+ years of relevant client-facing, sales, account management, or business development industry experience
Relationships with internal fidelity business units is helpful
Experience in consultative selling of equity compensation administration solutions is desirable
Nasd series 7 and 63 licenses (can be acquired after hire)
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Effective organization, prioritization skills, strategic development and planning skills

Identify, build, and develop key relationships with other fidelity business units to influence lead creation for fidelity sps
Carefully articulate fidelity investments’ competitive advantages in the equity compensation industry
Effectively communicate internally with sales executives, relationship managers, marketing, product development, and senior management
Set an appropriate strategy on a firm-by-firm basis for optimizing the amount of time that supports each relationshipOn active searches, work closely with client team to develop strategy and implement with the center of influence involved
Solicit and circulate feedback and competitive intelligence to assist with understanding market perceptions about fidelity’s capabilities, offerings and competitive positioning
Strategizing and delivering compelling demonstrations of fidelity’s leading capabilities
Being a transparent and credible presence in the industry – viewed as an industry specialist
