Designs, codes, tests and deploys software in all layers of the development life cycle.
Provides the necessary documentation.
Works with databases, apis, servers, networks and various programming languages.
Mentors those in less senior positions.
The primary task of this software developer is to create customer-facing fedex.com modern web applications using the angular framework
Provide technical leadership for large scale development efforts
Collaborate with business partners and various it teams to design and deliver enterprise level solutions

Expertise in angular is essential
Experience building and troubleshooting responsive and adaptive modern web applications and components using the angular framework (version 2 or higher, but preferably 8+), integrating with rest apis, creating automated unit and functional tests, and implementing accessibility capabilities (wcag/ada-compliant).
Knowledge and experience with all aspects of the software development lifecycle and release management using an agile methodology, such as safe.
Experience defining, implementing, and maintaining a devops culture while executing continuous integration and continuous deployment (ci/cd) processes.
Experience in “full stack” development which includes test-driven development (tdd), behavior-driven development (bdd), coding, application integration, and automated build, deployment, and testing strategies (including test-in-isolation, service virtualization, and consumer driven contracts).
Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience presenting to both non-technical and technical audiences.
Demonstration of strong interpersonal skills.
Additionally, the successful candidate will need to have demonstrated the following skills:
A strong sense of software craftsmanship
Write modular, well-tested, efficient / high-performance, and maintainable code which is secure, reliable, resilient, and adaptable to the diversity of customer devices, operating systems, and browsers
Interest in the ongoing developments of frontend frameworks in the market
Use of angular best practices
Knowledge and experience in ajax service calls
Git and working with the gitflow process of pull requests and code reviews
Knowledge of writing accessible code to meet ada guidelines
Ability to excel in team environments with a diverse mix of geographically distributed employee and vendor resources
Comfortable in working with *nix-style terminals, bash, shell scripting, ssh
Bachelor`s degree, in computer science, engineering, information systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training or work experienceFour (4) years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environmentA related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
