This job is all about personally and proactively contacting and securing new business accounts and customers.
The purpose of this role is to consistently grow sales while achieving profitability and account penetration targets, within an assigned territory/market segment, by effectively selling the company’s products and services.

Establishes develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products and services.
Participates in trade shows, seminars, events, and conventions
Makes telephone calls, needs assessments, and in-person evaluations to existing and prospective customers.
Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential
Responds in a timely fashion to inbound sales leads, as scheduled by the customer care manager.
Secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a consultative needs-based approach, including site evaluationsRecommends product(s) and/or service(s) suited to each prospect’s needs and physical environmentDemonstrates recommended solutions as needed.
Coordinates the sales effort with the customer care manager and critical functions, including operations and financeUtilizes the proprietary operating system(s) to record customer interactions, notes, photos, and videos and develop quotes, invoices, and other related paperwork.
Shares pertinent information about prospects or customers.
Maintains customer files in an organized and confidential manner.
Prepares quotations and stores them electronically.
Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the return on time investment for the territory/segment.
Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
Secondary or occasional responsibilities
Picks up walk-in, email, or social media prospects that the customer care manager has qualified.
Keeps abreast of service and product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through reading pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers’ importance to the organization.
Identifies advantages and compares the organization’s products and service to the competition
When technology fails, collaborate with the customer care manager to deliver a seamless customer experience by processing customer credit card payments, generating quotations, or uploading photos, drawings, and other artifacts for highly customized quotes that require direct oem support.
Have completed two years of university or college-level work (ba or bs preferred).
Demonstrate a strong customer service focus, with a minimum of 4 years experience in a customer-facing role.
Demonstrate the aptitude for problem-solving and the ability to determine solutions for customers.
Be results-oriented and able to work independently and within a team environment.
Possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Demonstrate proficiency in using google apps for work or equivalent ms office products.
Must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
Manage multiple priorities seamlessly.
Demonstrate stellar time management skills.
Have a valid driver’s license.
The candidate will travel between various locations each day - including the office, customer site, and b2b referral locations.
Candidate must be willing to work extended hours and occasional weekends (for events, shows, or other promotional activities).
