Our people are a core strategic driver of facebook’s successWe have an outstanding team working together to build and scale facebook, and we’re striving to provide a unique experience for every person working hereThe program manager will play a key role in our efforts to build and scale an innovative performance experienceThis role will work to improve all phases of performance: setting expectations and goals, asking for and providing feedback, and recognizing impact fairlyThis requires building a deep knowledge of our existing performance process, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement, designing enhancements, driving cross-functional input, owning communication and go-to-market efforts, and measuring progress over timeThey will also be responsible for assisting in the execution of the current performance processThey will collaborate with a range of partners, including hr business partners, diversity & inclusion, learning & development, people analytics, and people engineering to design and support an innovative manager experience.
Thoroughly understand the current-state performance experience and partner with people analytics to continuously measure effectiveness and experience Identify and recommend improvements to internal processes related to the performance experience, designing for inclusion and with a user-centric approach Conduct ongoing research (interviews, focus groups, etc.) to understand and evolve the performance experience Keep all relevant teams and stakeholders up to date and aware of project/program launches and opportunities for collaboration Partner with diversity & inclusion to drive consistency in how we evaluate performance across facebook Partner with people engineering to develop products to support the performance experience Partner with hrbps and executives on the roll-out and change management of the current process and new changes Collaborate with learning & development to create training and education materials Prepare correspondence and presentations, as needed, for status reports, executive updates, meetings, annual planning, etc.
6+ years of hr or hr consulting experience 3+ years of experience in performance management, program design/management, project management and change management Innovation, design thinking, inclusive design, data analysis, problem-solving, communication, relationship building, consulting, and teamwork skills Experience operating in a matrix and constantly changing environment Experience prioritize competing needs with reason and solutions Experience suggesting improvements or new ideas to processes Experience working with or in support of diverse communities Knowledge about facebook’s mission to bring the world closer together and supporting the people working to make this mission a reality
