About:
Evig capital llc is a boutique private investment firm that is looking to take the next step in whole property acquisitionsThus far, evig`s gp interests have included hospitality, multi-family development, and residential, but the firm is looking to expand its holdings.
Position:
Evig is looking to partner with an experienced commercial real estate acquisitions person in one of the following segments multifamily, industrial, self storage or potentially hospitality/ officeIdeally, person has experience identifying distressed sellers and experience sourcing off market deals and credibility with the brokerage community.
Generally, evig looking at deal size of < $25mm, with flexibility to do very small < $1mm, or larger, with an ultimate focus on the asset`s total return potentialAs a result, we are looking for better quality markets with long term growth potential, such as the sunbelt, mountain west, tx, etc., although open to great deals nationwide.
Importantly, this initially won`t be a salaried position but rather through promote share, so the candidate needs to
1) be honest about sourcing abilities of quality deals,
2) be passionate about real estate, and badly wants to be on the the buy side, and
3) is mostly just missing capital or otherwise could be out sourcing and executing deals.

Compensation will be determined ultimately by deals procured with a share of promote/ mgt fees, and potential for a full time paid position over time, if both parties desireBut initially this is a eat what you kill type of role, thus the importance of having the ability to identify and execute deals.
Other job qualifications include:
Manage/ develop cash flow projection models for each investment, including joint ventures, developments, and potentially performing/non-performing loan portfolios
Due diligence relating to new investments, including the review of business plans, third party reports, title/survey, historical financial statements, leases, vendor contracts, and market research
Help manage deal execution, including drafting and negotiating acquisition and joint venture term sheets, and reviewing deal documentation
